Climbing

Grey walls,
plastic swirls down funny halls,
Pinches, slopers, crimps and jugs.
Stemming between teknik thugs.

Chicken-wings and Elvis legs,
seeping cracks

 and dirty racks

Rocks are falling at the crags

Slithering ropes twisting turning

watch your ankles,

they'll slip behind and you'll
 get bit!

Chuffers, Gumbies,
 Punters, bums
 Beta Spraying
Concerned moms.

One day will do the Matterhorn
First we've got to crush indoors,
Come hang out with Rocky Strong,
Wallnuts, where we all belong,
You'll be here before to long.

  1. Great post. Climbing is such an amazing sport, and you do a wonderful job bringing that together in the images and the words. I sort of regret pressing play on that video, however. The guy in the purple tights looks as thought he's had enough to do him for a week!

Thanks for this post. Keep up the good work.
